Why Harakeke
Harakeke also known as New Zealand Flax, Phormium tenax. In Māori culture Harakeke represents Whānau (family). Traditionally, the innermost shoots of the plant are seen as the children, surrounded by parents and grandparents — a reflection of connection, support, community and care. This is in alignment with what Yoga Therapy is all about, we work with the inner & outer layers of the self, supporting the whole person — body, mind, heart & spirit.

My logo represent both the layered structure of harakeke and the ripple effect of healing that begins from within — an unfolding journey of reconnection to self with care.
